It's That Time Of Year Again Folks.

Here we are again folks, 2012 has only 6 1/2 hours left until 2013 takes over, so as always here's the mani I will be wearing to see the new year in! I started with a base of OPI - Nail Envy Matte which is by far my favourite base coat discovery of the year! My base colour is a cheeky little bargain I picked up from Poundland Sally Hansen - Without a Stitch, which is fast becoming one of my favourite plain/nude colours.
Also, you can't really see it, because I got abit carreid away, but there is also a subtle gradient using Barry M - Gold Foil.
Using acryclic paint, I painted the clock face and a base colour for the 2013 aswell as a few starry things. Barry M - Mushroom is the colour for the 'wood part' of the clock and GOSH - Holographic for the numbers. All the outlines are done with black acryclic paint and finally it's topped off with Rimmel - Rock Your Colour Glitter top-coat and a second coat of NYC Topcoat.

Overall I'm pretty pleased with how it came out. It would've been cool if I had layed off the glitter abit and made the gold gradient more prominent because it was really preetty but it still turned out lovely! and who can resist abit of glitter for NY!
So there we have it, my final mani of 2012. I hope you like it and don't forget to come back for my first mani of 2013!

Ho! Ho! Ho!

Here is my (possibly) final set of christmas nails for 2012! Just a simple design using NYC - White as the base, Maybelline red and black acrylic paint :) This is possibly one of my favourite christmas nails this year, I love the simplicity and neatness of it! Hope you like it too and if I don't manage another post before.... MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Christmas Nails Take 2!

As promised, here is another Christmas post. From my thumb and round I used, Barry M Gold and Nail Pop Red Glitter. For the reindeer I used NYC - White, Barry M - Mushroom and acrylic paint for the details. The Fair Isle print I used Maybelline - Deep Red and white acrylic paint. Barry M - Gold Glitter and finally NYC - White and Barry M - Pure Turqoise. All topped off with an old unamed top coat I've been using recently! I hope you like and don't forget to link this blog to your friends!
Also! Sorry for the bad picture! My usual camera is lost in my mess of a room at the moment!

I Do Believe 'tis The Season

It's been a while since I last posted here and seeing as it's December 1st(where has this year gone?!) it's the perfect time for my Christmas nail post! I started off using Barry M - Navy as a base and a silver glitter that has no markers so I have no idea what brand it is! I then simply used a white acrylic paint and a dotting tool and striper brush for the snowman, snowflakes and reindeer. The small details on the snowman are also acrylic paint. All of it was topped off with Rimmel 5 in 1 top coat for a lovely shiny finish. I hope you like it and keep checking back for more designs(definitely a tonne of Christmas designs over the next couple of weeks!!)
